Habakkuk 2:3

For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end fulfillment; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait earnestly for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day.

The definition of being "under the weather"

Sigh. Today is day nine of being "under the weather". I wish I could say I'm above the weather, flying high with the birds into the heart of the sun. But I feel like the exact opposite. Sinking down, down into a cold abyss of head congestion and throbbing sore throats. I went to the doctor yesterday and waited around 2 hours to see this one man for about 2 minutes. He's not like a magical healer, or even a king. If he was the king of India, I would totally understand. But this stuck up doctor? really? I took a test and turns out, I in fact, DONT have the flu! HA. imagine that. And the nurse also proceeds to tell us that if I had come in the day after I received this little germ of a sickness, I could've taken some medicine and probably would've been better with in 2 days of taking it. HOW ridiculous. That's all I have to say. I spent my senior homecoming recovering from a flu I could've avoided, and taking care of my dear friend who was throwing up. Life is silly sometimes. But it's alright. Hopefully this bug will be gone by next week, or even better, this week! I feel completely useless when I'm sick. I cannot really do anything, or go anywhere. and so I pray. Dear Jesus, send angels with vacuums to suck this cough and cold right out of me. Amen.
